Kill your(other)self
A downloadable game for Windows
"Kill your(other)self" is a shooter game made during the Halloween Game Jam in October 2023 at Spelkollektivet. The theme of the spooky jam was "Loop". We played around with time travelling and tried to implement some kind of time loop.
How to Play
The game is a turn-based couch multiplayer (1v1) game or a singleplayer. You'll share your input device with your opponent, but don't worry, you'll have enough time to swap places in front of the keyboard!
Decide which one of you is the yellow and which one is the blue version of our main character and you're ready to go. The player who starts must search the map for a dancing version of the character and shoot it.
Then you switch and the second player has to find and shoot the past version of the first player and stop him from killing the dancer. Then it's the first player's turn again to kill the last time clone and prevent himself from being killed in the past.
So it goes on and on in turns... but beware, the faster your opponent is, the less time you have yourself. If you don't manage to prevent your own death in the past in time, you lose.
In addition, there is much more to discover on the map. For example, you should be on the lookout for the police officers from the future who try to stop you, be considerate of civilians and look around a bit to get an advantage through items.
